What You Need to Book a Nissan

Age
25 and over for the GT-R, 21 for the Sentra and Altima. The GT-R rental age requirement is read from the named driver on the reservation.

License and card
A valid driver's license and a credit card in your own name. Arriving from abroad, add a passport and your home-country license.

Insurance
Your personal full-coverage policy covers it, provided it carries comprehensive, collision and liability and follows into a rental. If not, Nissan rental insurance through us handles the car, cleared before delivery.

Deposit
A refundable hold of $2,000 on the GT-R and $500 on the sedans, back with you 3 to 5 business days after we inspect the car. The GT-R rental security deposit sits below what many exotic houses ask.

Mileage
100 miles a day on the GT-R and 150 on the sedans, with extra miles quoted upfront, so the Nissan rental mileage limit never surprises you at return.

Why They Call Nissan a Godzilla
The nickname was born in the late 1980s, when an Australian magazine watched the Skyline GT-R demolish everything in touring-car racing and reached for the only name big enough: Godzilla, the monster from Japan. The current R35 kept the legend alive by doing the unthinkable, lapping famous circuits faster than Porsches and Ferraris costing several times more, and it did it while remaining civil enough to drive to work. Each of its twin-turbo V6 engines is hand-assembled by a single master craftsman, a Takumi, whose name goes on a plaque under the hood. That era is closing. Nissan ended R35 production after an extraordinary run of nearly two decades on one generation, which makes renting a GT-R now a chance to drive a genuine legend before it becomes history.
